The following is an inspiration for why we decided to get ourselves a Nokia N900 solar charger. Read on if you’re interested…

How does it work? The product has photovoltaic cells which convert the energy in the sun’s rays into electric energy, and store it in a battery inside the solar charger  - so you are actually charging from a battery, not directly from the sun, as the voltage and current are different and not compatible.
For our technical guys, unfortunately we can’t get hold of exact specs, but we assure you that it behaves exactly as an AC charger, only that it is environment-friendly!

As Nokia N900 owners ourselves, we’re always looking to get more out of these smartphones, and of course, share it with you. Sometimes it is necessary to think safe; what would you do in case your N900 broke?

Folks, we got another application for Nokia N900, this time it isn’t a theme but a Game. There’s not much to say about this, as you all know how these games are. This N900 game is called Magic Check and it is under development by the MMMOOO team and will be released very very soon.

As we promised before here a this Symbian Nokia N900 theme, we are the first on the web giving you this preview of the Color City theme for Maemo 5/Nokia N900 phones. This theme is under development with MMMOOO folks and will be released very very soon(price over 4 euros). We were able to test this theme and give you some screenshots.

The theme name will make you remember a city with tall buildings, but it can also makes you remember tetris because you have very little squares falling down with different colours. You can be pretty sure this won’t be just a theme with a wallpaper for your Nokia N900, it will be something personalized. Many websites are distributing free Wallpapers for Nokia N900, which is pretty cool indeed, because you have  resolved the task of resizing the image so that it can fit on the screen of your N900, but imagine you want that specific Ferrari wallpaper you found on the internet, but it is not in the size you need and any of the Websites that allow you to download that wallpaper for the N900 have it available. Then…you need to resize your wallpaper.

VSO Image Resizer is the perfect toll to resize all your images. To resize a wallpaper to fit on the N900, you need to make it at 800×480 pixels. Then your job is done, add it to your gallery and make it as the wallpaper.

Themes for the Nokia N900 are very few on the web right now, even to purchase, if you search on Google for Nokia N900 themes, you won’t find a single one. But here at Nokia-N900.com we will get you themes from MMMOOO for you to download and purchase, there will be some paid themes, others free, and for sure many contests for you all. But…those themes from MMMOOO aren’t yet released, so we will have to wait 1 more week.
This article if for those who haven’t bought the Nokia N900 (you don’t know what you are losing), for those who have a Symbian S60 5th Edition or an E-Series. Well, it is for those who don’t know what an Internet Tablet is. Anyway, Jon from tehkSEVEN made a theme for those who have E-Series devices and Symbian S60 5th Edition. The Nokia N900 has been released in Portugal and is available for purchase on the Nokia Portugal website, it comes unlocked and everything else. If you purchase right now you will get Nokia N900 before Christmas for 599€, it’s not cheap and you could think it would be better to buy via ebay…it can…in some cases, but remember that buying via Ebay is an international purchase and the delivery can take many days and you wouldn’t get your hands on the N900 by Christmas.

Fortunately, here at Nokia N900, we have a tip for you to save 109€ on the Nokia N900 and get it new and unlocked and with everything you would have right if buying on the Nokia Official Store website. If you live in Portugal, or even Spain (all you need to know is to speak Portuguese), you can get the Nokia N900 much more cheaper via Proposta Genuína, a website that I found and where I purchased my new Nokia E52 (priced at 309€ at the Nokia Store and where I purchased by 230€ in Proposta Genuína). Simply check the differences and have in mind that I am a happy buyer from this store and that this store is referenced by Pixmania. Indeed you can get the Nokia N900 at a very good price.
