Hi

Since I upgraded to PR1.2 (Both FULL Flash and OTA) i cant login to faccebook via IM! Worked fine on PR1.1 but not now ive upgraded!! Ive even had a new handset and the problem  is still there. Im also missing libs when trying to upgrade old software!

Can someone explain why the OFFICIAL (NOKIA) flash is causing this problem when i didnt have it before? Maybe I should switch to Android as they seem to have a more stable release!

Dont get me wrong, I love the phone and OS but just dont understand why im getting these problems again and again? Even Nokia cant help me so now im thinking their just focusing on MeeGo and ignoring the issues with Meamo!!!

Way to go guys, thats how you loose customers!!

Oh yeah, For some reason I cant flash back to PR1.1  (Which worked better than 1.2), why is that???

Any help is much apprecated

No phone-maker allows you to downgrade software, SE, Apple, no one that I know.

There is a bug with Facebook IM, you have to download a small plugin from the repositories if I'm not mistaken

I know the update your talking about but it just says 'unable to install'! thanks nokia/Meamo!!!!

Can I not just reflash eveything back to 1.1? ive heard other people have done it but its a bit of a pain?

Try reinstalling pidgin (if you have not tried yet). I did not face any issues with PR 1.2 in facebook chat.
