go to Settings, then in the Connectivity divider choose "VoIP and IM Accounts". After that click on "New" and choose the service you need (Skype). Then it's pretty simple, put your skype name and password. Then click on "start session" and everything should be fine.

Oh and after that, whenever you click on the Status Area (Battery icon, Wi-Fi icon, etc) a new button appears - which is "Availability" (or something similar, i'm using Portuguese language). If you click on it, you have easy access to all your accounts and you can put Offline, Busy or Online availability.

Skype contacts are automatically added to the phone's Contact list. you can merge them with another contacts (in case you have the guy's phone number)
