My N900 has one problem, that is the keyboard slider won't unlock my phone. This is a problem cause, i have to use 2 actions now to use my phone. I had trouble with NitDroid setup (works now) to type in google account.

But Vodafone has offered me to send it to HQ, and i have heard some people are either getting a new one/refurbished or they make an offer to get another Phone. E7-00/N8 is equal to the current price of the N900. But Symbian Sad N9 would be nice

So my question is:
Should i send it (takes 6 weeks) and risk it either fixed or they offer me another phone? Cause it's a common problem.

I have tried repairing it myself, but it's a magnet beneat the keyboard as shown here, but i'm afraid i will break my device.
