Introduction:
Kroll is a nice fighting game for N900 mixing the '80 arcade style with some stunning graphics and interactive animations!
Review:
The game is easy to play and really good for a free one! It's way of playing is really simple - but don't think it's super easy!
It has 3 Chapters, a little short but not long so it's just perfect (at least for me!). The interactive animations are really awesome and eye-candy too, although you won't notice alll the cool graphics because you're just concentrating in the game as it is a fast paced one!
Screenshots:Those are iPhone screenshots and their quality isn't really the best. The game looks WAY better on the Nokia N900, believe me!
Tips:
Jumping right into the game by tapping the 'Play' tab on the main menu bypasses the storybook narrative. Only by flipping through the pages in the virtual tome will you get the full story and learn about the world of Leterna.
For each level you're granted two lives. Filling up the blast meter completely ensures that when you die, you restart at the point at which you died; otherwise, you're forced to begin at the start of the current stage.
Heavy attacks are effective against stronger enemies, but leave you vulnerable to the attacks of smaller foes. Vary your attacks and always keep an eye out for enemies that appear on the opposite side of the screen.
