Ok, so I'm trying to install ^this nifty little bootsplash and I tried following the steps it gives to install it, but why can't I find any of these files/folders it's asking me for?

Thanks for everyone's help, but I just wound up shipping it back to Nokia to see if they can repair it for me since it was still under warranty and they did! So, now I have my N900 back in my hands, good as new! Thanks again! 

yeah, i've tried reconnecting it to my computer to try and continue with the update, but the nokia software updater now says "Device not found" or something along those lines. and i still can't turn it on cuz it still continues to do the same thing, even when i try charging it 

I was trying to update my N900 using the nokia software updater and once the update was left with 1 sec remaining it took about an hour or so before anything else happened, then it just said update failed and gave me a list of reasons as to what could have caused it, but now my N900 doesn't seem to work.  All it does is light up with the words 'Nokia' and a slight vibration then it won't do anything and turn itself off



did nokia's new update just brick my phone?

is the N900 not programmed to do so? 

somebody needs to create a clone of the Audiosurf game

you know... i think this may just be a little mis-hap by the developers. hopefully, a firmware update can fix this sometime soon 

I've never owned an iPhone, but I have a few friends that own iPhones.  The phone is pretty awesome, but it's not me.

My N900 came up to about $630 (including the $9.99 for express delivery).  So far, I'm loving it.  If you really want one and you're, at least, somewhat tech savvy, I say, go for it!  It's a beautiful device!

My name is Robert and I'm from California.  I've had my N900 for a few days now and I'm still trying to get the hang of it's features and whatnot.  Anyway, I hope this site becomes flooded with tips and tricks and games and apps and wallpapers and themes and hacks pretty soon!
