How robust you think the Nokia N900 is?
This is a very interesting question if you are thinking of buying a Nokia N900 or if you have already pre-ordered. The guys from tehkseven decided to use their new Nokia N900 as pilot for some really heavy test.
The first test is how the Nokia N900 screen responds to stylish, coin and key scratches. In my opinion the result that they get I consider them satisfactory because it is very unlikely that you would made that kind of pressure on the phone screen .The Second one is the worst one to see because it’s the dropping test and you would see how the Nokia N900 resist from being dropped on grass, gravel and concrete. Believe me, to watch someone dropping on purpose a gorgeous Nokia N900, you would feel it in your own skin! The third one is what they called the Pocket Test, really interesting one considering the idea of simulating a common situation. And the last one is the Dust Test. In my opinion is not as interesting as the other ones because I don’t consider the dust as an outsider threatening enough to make some serious damage to a phone. I have never seen a phone which stopped working due to dust. However, I have to say that the results of that test with the exaggerated amount of dust take by surprise.
