I’ve been feeling a lot SPECIAL since two days before, when I finally got maps loaded on my N900…

I’m running Win7 and none of the instructions I’ve seen around on the net reaaaally helped….

First of all, I got the job done by setting the compatibility mode for running the map loader to “Vista SP3″, which noone has mentioned before… or should I say “many have objected doing so”…?

Second, I set the phone to PC SUITE MODE!!!! ?!

Third… I saw a nice guide lying around about the “qf” file…
after some experimenting, either hidden or not, the map loader succesfully loaded / read maps on my device…

I’m reaaaaally dissapointed by Nokia & its Ovi store for not posting maps/guides to do this….

But the funny thing is, that the Nokia N900 has a Linux Operating System, and the main Apps, like PcSuite and now the MapLoader, aren`t available under Linux Operating Systems.
