I’m already protecting my N900 with leather cover and screen shield for quite some time, but in the nearest future I’ll also try the rubber case from Nokia N900 store. Why? There are few reasons.

This rubber case covers the N900 in similar way as the leather case, but is a bit smaller and in my opinion better for carrying in pocket. It enlarges the standard size of the N900 by few milimeters only and nicely fits the shape. There’s no need to open flap to use the phone, which better fits my needs, it’s great solution to use with screen protector I already have.

Apart from protective function, the rubber case may also play a role in customization, there are few colors to choose, so they can go along with your theme and wallpaper customization – three come by default! If you want it may also reflect your mood or make your N900 better suited for occasion, so you can change to red when you’re angry, blue when you’re calm, white or black for formal days or meetings, pink for fancy ocasions. There is quite nice variety of colors in N900 store.

As for me this is the best way to complete my ‘safety set’.  It also may be the best to fullfill your needs.
