When I first got my Nokia N900 I said to myself ‘I’ll be careful, my screen won’t ever scratch, I don’t need this fancy protectors and cases‘. After some time I was having situations when I put my N900 to my backpack with few other things and suddenly ‘gosh, what am I doing?!’ got into my mind when I’ve discovered that there are also keys and coins. So what to do about this?

Screen protector

First dangerous situation is sharp object scratching N900 touchscreen. I have to admit that I already have few small scratches so I decided not to allow any more to appear and I’ve checked screen protectors in our store. I was sceptical at first, but after application I was surprised in very good way. Screen responsiveness haven’t gone down, shield fits really good and it was pretty easy to apply. Moreover small scratches on the screen are invisible when shield is on, looks good for me and serves well, one thing less to worry about. Leather case

Again, at first I thought that it’s really not a good idea to have such thing if I’ll be careful, but screen is not the only part that may get scratches and again I must admit that my N900 has some. Being careful is one thing, doing something by accident, completely not on purpose is another. Therefore I’ve decided to get a leather case and it came out it was a good choice. Once a week I’m playing basketball, for over an hour my N900 resides in backpack with other things that I’m having in my pockets, additional protection is really needed when I put keys in the same place. Now I have a case (well, two actually, one white and one black, for every ocasion) and I feel better about any accidental damage.

What if it’s too late?

Some of you may think that it’s too late to get outer protection, but wait. In our store you can get spare parts, there is no need for brand new N900, it’s never too late. If your screen is badly scratched you can get original replacement for touch screen, if damage is deeper we also have LCD displays and for other severe wounds there is also full housing for N900 with opening set. I think that if I damage my phone badly (I obviously don’t want to) I can always bring it back to life.

In Poland we have a telling ‘who’s careful is always assured’, for me this safety assurance is really good – cheap way to keep expensive parts safe. But on the other hand there is always a way to bring N900 from scratch-death back to life!
