I was almost frustrated when I couldnt use my Stylus to select a paragraph in mail app for example. After playing with different combination of keys, I found a solution. Its not even listed anywhere (as far as I googled it lol). Here's the tip for N900 users: To select a paragraph or sentences, put the insertion point where you want to start selecting, hold the shift key and use the top or bottom arrow to select upwards or downwards.
